The druids journey

Model: "The Gatekeeper" Company: Nocturna Models Scale: 54 mm Story: When I first shaw this miniature I inmediately felt in love with it: 60 mm high, very well detailed, and a good price. It combines skin, metals, clothes and show a strong and unic character. As disadvantage it is worth mentioning its static posture, cause I prefer looking for more dinamic sceneries. First of all, I had to decide the scenery: a palace with a gate, a castle ruins, or a natural landscape? I choosed the last one. In that time I was reading to Roman Lappat on " Massive Voodoo ", about meaning and importance of the environment. I decided to create a scene where the sunset light would be the main actor, adapting the figure acording to it. By adding some pine cork pieces, milliput and sand, a general scene was appearing...
